So I took away Tornado's glove...
He seems to keep finding these latex gloves. We bought a pack of them for staining some wood and I don't know where they went. He does, though. Every once in a while he brings one out and starts to play with it. They're his very favorite things.

Unfortunately, they're also dangerous, as he could bite off a piece and choke or asphyxiate on it. And so I always take them away.

Tonight he had one under my desk. I took it away from him, and when I thought he wasn't looking, I tossed it into my desk trash can.

Well he saw me. He spent the next 10 minutes trying to be all stealthy and get into the trash can. Eventually I just took it out and gave it to him, figuring I'd supervise him playing for a little while, then take it away again and put it somewhere else. So he played with it for a bit...

...then he went back to the trash can to "get that one," too! DOH!!
