I often use Sparky as a pre-rinse for dishes going into the dishwasher. Well today I had a rather large piece of something that I couldn't eat, so I put the plate down on the floor by his food bowl.

A little while later I went in to refill my drink, and I see Sparky standing near his food, just staring at the plate. He looked over his shoulder at me. He wouldn't touch it, though, until I pointed at it and said "cookie!" then he dove right in.

What a good doggie.

Sparky is pretty confused. He hears the hail beating against the front door and he's worried. He's just sitting there, watching the door. I guess he's making sure no bad guys come in. :)
